After our weekend in Charleston, Nicolas was scheduled to start classes on Monday morning, so we headed out bright and early for Florida, arriving back at our home by dinnertime.
We had a new(er) golf cart waiting for us!
This one goes quite a bit faster than the old one we had . . . Bryce is happy!
We’re sure glad to be back in warmer temperatures! Just a few days under the gloomy skies of Michigan in winter makes us really appreciate the bright sunny days in Florida, where it’s so nice to be outside – whether we’re walking the dog, visiting with friends, sitting by the pool, or even working! It doesn’t matter what we’re doing, it’s just so nice to be able to be outside!
The RV Park filled up even more while we were away, and the activities are in full swing. The quilting group started meeting on Mondays and Fridays, so I’m hoping to get some projects done in the next few months!
This weekend, we had an italian feast (pizza & salad bar) with music by the Bill Colletti & Lisa George Trio.
They were really good, and played a full variety of music from the 60s through now. It was a very enjoyable evening!
On Sunday, the resort followed up with a Chili Cookoff/Superbowl Party, complete with a large projection screen in the ballroom.
Another nice weekend!
Where is that rv park? It sure is empty for a Florida park. We're full here. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back in town and looking forward to our visiting but hope you brought your snowgear. I was just looking at the fourteen day forecast and it's showing a night below freezing coming our way. Sure hope that's a mistake on their part.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
