Hanging around at the RV Resort

Monday was pretty much a lazy day for all of us.  We slept in and had a late breakfast -- blueberry pancakes and bacon!  Howard and Linda stopped by for awhile as we were finishing up breakfast, and we chatted with them until the wind started gusting and we thought for sure a storm was coming!  I quickly rolled the awning, and everybody scattered!  We hung out inside, watching TV and reading, but the storm never did materialize.

We had some lunch, and then Bryce decided to go fishing in the pond with Linda.  Tom, Nicolas and I went down there, too, just to watch.  They were pulling in fish right and left!  They each caught a good-sized bass,

and lots of bluegill and sunfish!

Linda must have caught this guy by surprise -- because he pee'd all over her!! LOL -- We've never seen that before!!

It was a scorcher, so Nicolas and I were wading in the pond to keep cool

-- at least until a crawfish nibbled on my toe, and then I got out of there!  Tom, Nicolas and I headed back tot he RV after that, and Bryce stayed with Linda for another hour or so -- she was teaching him quite a bit about fishing!

After dinner, several of the RV-Dreamers gathered under the tent, and I took my dessert over that we were supposed to have at the potluck.  It wasn't the beautiful torte that I was going to make, but rather cubes of cake with berries and cool whip -- still tasted good, though!  Around 10pm, the mosquitos started attacking, and everybody made a hasty exit!
