With all the fun we had yesterday, today was a concentrated work and school day, although we did take Casey for a walk to the dog park. At first she just wanted to walk around and sniff, but eventually Nicolas was able to convince her to climb the big tree in the middle of the park!
As we walked around the RV Park, we saw this really cool HDT . . . I love the color!
The kids’ day didn’t turn out to be as long as I thought it would be, and they were done with school by lunchtime. They killed some time while I finished up with work, and when I was done we took a drive down to Lazydays (just a couple of miles down the road from us).
This has got to be the biggest RV dealer anywhere! The sales building is huge, and the display area is spread out all over the property, with walking paths and golf cart paths to get around.
We are definitely NOT in the market for a new RV . . . but it was fun to look around! We looked at toyhaulers, 5th wheels and motorhomes, but didn’t see anything we “just had to have” . . . although Bryce thought this one would make a nice little tailgater!!
All it needs is a Sparty painted on it!
Lazydays also does a lot of service, and they have multiple service bays like this one. This is really a big place!
After walking around for awhile, we decided to go to Parkesdale Farm Market for a strawberry shortcake . . . and get there BEFORE they closed this time!!
YUM!! Definitely a good choice!
After our treat, we went back to Lazydays to see if we could find Nancy & Bill, who we had met at the RV-Dreams Rally in Pigeon Forge a couple years ago. We knew they were having service done, and while we were touring in the afternoon, we found out where the service campsites were. We spotted them right away, and stopped to visit until well after dark!
It was great to see them again and get caught up on all the places we’ve both been!
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop and visit. We really enjoyed our short time together. Can't wait to hear all about your summer adventures!!!
ReplyDeleteI have always enjoyed touring factories that make campers, whether or not I am in the market for a new one.
