Labor Day with the family

We left Shipshewana on Friday morning, and made our way east to the little town of Orland, to Manapogo Park, where two of my sisters have seasonal sites.  In the past, we’ve only ever visited for a day, but this time we decided to bring the RV and spend the weekend.  Our early arrival paid off and we were quickly set up on Site Q.

Site Q

It was only 30amp and water, and pretty expensive at $46/night, but we were there to spend time with the family, so we paid for the convenience factor.

my other sisters, my mom and my brother were all coming up to spend Saturday with us.

The forecasted weather included storms all weekend, but we had beautiful weather.  The boys spent some time with Danny out on his boat, and Bryce took his little cousin, Savannah, swimming at the beach.

With the family together on Saturday, we played games, cards, and made plenty of food!

We all gathered at my sisters’ campers, since they are right next to each other, and Tom and I made dinner on Saturday to celebrate Nicolas’ graduation.  We had pie and ice cream for dessert, and my sister, Deby, made fudge to go with it.

and Bryce got to play cards all night!

On Sunday, there weren’t as many of us there, but we did it all again – another big dinner,
